In a true 21st-century love story, Holden and Macy's journey began in the Instagram DMs in December 2023.

After a charming New Year's Day breakfast date, Macy prepared to return to Lubbock for school, while Holden was in the process of moving to Dallas. Though their connection was undeniable, they knew the timing wasn't right for a relationship... YET!

Fast forward a few months: Macy returned home from her spring semester, and Holden was now settled in Dallas. Was this now the perfect moment for them?! Eager to find out, they went on another date, and this time, it was clear—they wanted to be in each other's lives and make the long-distance happen! God’s timing is always perfect.

After much time filled with long drives, college soccer games, and FaceTime calls - they knew they wanted to spend their lives together. And end long-distance for good! On December 6, 2026, Holden proposed, and Macy said YES!
